【课程目标】
1.素质目标：
对中西方文化差异有理性、科学的认识，具有社会主义核心价值观，树立正确的世界观、人生观、价值观，保有文化自信，具有一定语言学习素养，强化对中国文化、中医药文化的热爱。
2.知识目标：
语法方面巩固和加深基本语法知识，提高在语篇水平上运用语法知识的能力。掌握的总词汇量应达4200个单词和700个词组，其中2500个单词为积极词汇，即要求学生能够在认知的基础上学会熟练运用，包括在口头表达以及书面表达两个方面。具有一定的跨文化交际素养。
3.能力目标：
（1）听力理解能力：能听懂英语授课，能听懂日常英语谈话和一般性题材的讲座，能听懂语速较慢(每分钟130-150词)的英语广播和电视节目，能掌握其中心大意，抓住要点。能运用基本的听力技巧。
（2）口语表达能力：能在学习过程中用英语交流，并能就某一主题进行讨论，能就日常话题用英语进行交谈，能经准备后就所熟悉的话题作简短发言，表达比较清楚，语音、语调基本正确。能在交谈中使用基本的会话策略。
（3）阅读理解能力： 能够基本读懂一般性题材的英文文章，阅读速度达到每分钟70词，在快速阅读篇幅较长、难度略低的材料时，阅读速度达到每分钟100词，能基本读懂国内英文报刊，掌握中心意思，理解主要事实和有关细节。能读懂工作、生活中常见的应用文体的材料。能在阅读中使用有效的阅读方法。
（4）书面表达能力：能描述个人经历、事件、观感、情感等；能用常见的应用文体完成一般写作任务；能就一般性话题或提纲在半小时内写出180词的短文，内容基本完整、用词恰当，语篇连贯，能使用恰当的写作技能。
（5）翻译能力：能借助词典对题材熟悉的文章进行英汉互译，英汉译速为每小时300英语单词，汉英译速为每小时250个汉字。译文基本流畅，能在翻译时使用适当的翻译技巧。
【课程考核与评价】
1.课程考核目的
一方面，教师可了解学生掌握知识的情况，对老师教学的反馈，从而检验教学质量好坏，以便对教学进行调整改良的依据；另一方面，学生了解自己本课程知识掌握及能力训练情况，查漏补缺，及时对学习状态进行审查和总结，从而进行相应调整和改良。
2.课程成绩评定
课程成绩评定：期评成绩=形成性评价成绩（平时成绩）*40%+终结性评价成（期末考试）*60%。
3.课程考核形式与方法
课程考核采用形成性过程评估和终结性评估两种相结合的评估方式。每学期期末采用全校统一笔试的形式。形成性过程评价成绩可由出勤、自主学习表现、作业情况以及其它活动的参与情况等决定。老师可根据个性化教学情况进行调整。
