GUANGXI UNIVERSITY OF CHINESE MEDICINE

2016 GUANGXI GOVERNMENT FULL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Guangxi Government Full Scholarship Program (GXGFSP) was established by the government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region particularly for excellent ASEAN students who are intended to study in Guangxi. In 2016, we will enroll eight GXGFSP full-time undergraduate students. We welcome every qualified person to apply the scholarship.

1. Admission Requirements

21. Applicants must be the citizen of ASEAN countries in good health.
21. Applicants should be friendly to China and agree to abide by the laws of the Chinese government and rules of the university.
21. Applicant must be well-behaved and also has earnest study attitude.
21. Applicants must not be the scholar of any other kinds of Chinese Government Scholarship at all levels at the same time.

2.  Admission Quota

21. 2 for Vietnam candidates (1 for Lang Son, and 1 for Quang Ninh, who shall be recommended by Consulate General of Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nanning.)
21. 2 for Laos (The candidates shall be recommended by either the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Laos People’s Democratic Republic, or the Consulate General of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic in Nanning.)
21. 2 for Cambodia
21. 2 for all ASEAN countries.

3. Details of the Scholarship

21. Exempt from registration fee, tuition fee, fee for laboratory experiment and internship;
21. Exempt from accommodation;
21. Exempt from fees for basic learning materials;
21. Provide major diseases and accident medical insurance;
21. Provide living expenses regularly.

4. Required Materials

21. Complete Guangxi Government Full Scholarship Application Form for ASEAN Students;
21. Complete Application Form for Foreigners Wishing to Study in GXUCM;
21. A scanned copy of applicant’s valid passport;
21. Scanned copies of highest diploma and transcript (notarized copy);
21. A study or research plan;
21. Foreigner Physical Examination Form (original version);
21. 3 identification photos pictured in recent 6 months. (2 inches, 3.3cm×4.8cm)

Notes:

1). The application forms could be downloaded from the “forms” of our website, and should be completed covering all the items in either English or Chinese with signatures and photos.

2). The study or research plan in Chinese or in English no less than 200 words. (A printed copy with handwritten signature is also available.)

3). Foreigner Physical Examination Form (original version) with complete records covering all the items listed in the form. Those without the signature of the attending physician, official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. The medical examination results will be valid for 6 months. All applicants are kindly requested to take this factor into consideration while determining the time to take the medical examination.

5. Application Procedure

21. The applicants from Lang Son and Quang Ninh of Vietnam and Laos can summit their applications to the above mentioned Consulate General and Embassy, or directly to us.
21. Mailing: Please deliver a complete set of paper materials binding in sequence to us with the envelope marking Guangxi Government Scholarship Program.

6. Deadline of Application & Enrolment

21. Deadline of Application is by 18:00 of June 15^th, 2016.
21. The qualified candidates for the scholarships will be decided via comprehensive judgment by reviewing all the application materials and a phone interview from June 16^th to June 24^th.
